Fractional Laser Treatments

Fractional laser works by creating many micro-channels at different depths in the skin. Because only tiny spots rather than the whole surface are treated, healing is much faster than with conventional resurfacing.

About

How Does It Work?

The laser does not treat the skin in one continuous sheet; it treats it as scattered points, leaving healthy tissue in between. The treated micro-zones heal quickly from the surrounding intact skin, stimulating cell renewal and collagen production.

The result is an invisible-to-the-eye resurfacing, renewal, tightening and brightening. Renewed cells give the skin a brighter, softer and fresher look; firmness increases and pores look smaller.

Depth and density are adjusted to the skin condition; deeper treatments need somewhat longer healing.

Who Is It For?

01

Loss of skin quality

Dull, rough skin with visible pores.

02

Fine lines and spots

Fine wrinkles, superficial spots and uneven tone.

03

Scars and stretch marks

Acne marks, mild scars and stretch marks (suitability is decided at examination).

Treatment Process

Step 1

Assessment

Skin type, target problem and depth are planned; sun exposure and skin sensitivity are reviewed.

Step 2

Treatment

If needed, a topical anesthetic cream is applied. The laser is scanned over the face or relevant area; sessions are usually short.

Step 3

Recovery

Redness, mild roughness or crusting may last a few days. Moisturizing and sun protection are very important. Results become clearer over weeks.

FAQ

Fractional Laser

How many sessions are needed?

It depends on the goal; usually a few sessions are planned at intervals.

How is it different from traditional laser resurfacing?

Only a fraction of the skin is treated at a time, so healing is faster.

When should it not be done?

Active infection, recent intense sun exposure, certain medications and pregnancy require a doctor's assessment.
