Laser Treatments

Among lasers produced with new technologies, the combination of Erbium YAG (Er:YAG) and Neodymium YAG (Nd:YAG) lasers, using different wavelengths and energy levels, is used successfully across a very broad spectrum of skin and subdermal problems. In addition, the newly developed soft heating wave feature (Piano mode) acts on the collagen and elastic fibers beneath the skin, making face and body lifting possible. By reaching the superficial and deep layers of the skin at the desired rate and energy with different laser wavelengths, various lesions and problems can be treated.

Examples of Treatments Performed with Combined Lasers

Facial Rejuvenation (3D and 4D)

Both laser types are used in the same session, in three or four different steps, for facial rejuvenation through peeling of the facial skin (laser abrasion), tightening and lifting, and stimulation and renewal of cells and collagen. Tightening of the inner mouth lining is also achieved, adding a fourth dimension to the treatment; the cheek skin is tightened and renewed both from the outside and from the inside. This treatment also eliminates small superficial scars, sebaceous cysts, discoloration, wrinkles, and moles.

Moles (Nevi) – Skin Lesions

Benign skin lesions such as raised moles (intradermal nevi), keratoses, warts, and age spots are removed without surgery by vaporizing them with laser energy. This removal is both quick and scar-free.

Vascular Lesions (Spider Veins – Red Spots – Varicose Vein Dilations)

Red and bluish vein problems in the skin (spider veins), such as broken capillaries, vein clusters, or dilated varicose veins, can be eliminated in one or two sessions with the Nd:YAG laser. The laser beam directly targets the hemoglobin circulating inside the vessel and uses high energy to shrink and close it. Because the laser acts only on the target, skin cells and surrounding tissues are not harmed in this treatment.

Excessive Sweating

For excessive underarm sweating, dual laser technology offers a permanent solution by permanently destroying the sweat glands in the skin through applications from both beneath and above the skin. Botox is also used against underarm sweating, but its effect is limited in duration and temporary. With laser treatment, the sweat glands are permanently eliminated.

Wound Marks – Scars

With their abrasion (sanding) feature, Er:YAG lasers are used to reduce and smooth old surgical scars, acne scars, or old burn scars. The goal is to peel the scar together with the surrounding tissue so that the new skin that forms looks smoother. With scar reduction treatment, it is possible to achieve a smooth skin appearance in 2 or 3 sessions.

Laser Lipolysis

It is also possible to melt fat tissue using laser energy. For localized fat deposits, Nd:YAG laser energy is delivered under the skin through a very thin fiber and cannula, where it melts the excess fat layer and improves the contour. Examples include areas such as under the chin (double chin), the armpits, the undersides of the arms, and the inner knees.

Fractional Laser Treatments

This technology works by creating many microscopic channels at different depths in the skin. With this laser treatment, the skin undergoes an invisible peeling, renewal, collagen and cell stimulation, tightening, and lightening. It is a newer treatment method that heals much faster than other abrasion (peeling) methods. As a result of fractional laser treatments, the cells renewed in the treated areas give the skin a bright, soft, and fresh appearance. Skin firmness increases, pores tighten, fine and superficial marks disappear, and deep marks become more superficial. Differences in color and tone disappear or are reduced through the peeling effect.

Acne Scar Treatment

When acne (pimples) is severe, left untreated, or picked at, it can heal by leaving marks (scars). This creates a rough, bothersome appearance on the skin. Removing these marks with fractional laser treatment is one of the newest methods in use today. It works deeply in the flawed areas, helping depressed scars heal and fill in, and has a sanding effect on raised areas. During healing, the newly formed healthy skin covers these areas smoothly, so the marks gradually fade with each session. Session intervals can be adjusted for each person; typically 3–5 sessions are performed at intervals of about 3–4 weeks. With this method, it is possible to reduce acne scars by 50–80% after three sessions.
