Soft tissue fillers are injection procedures placed under the skin to replace volume lost with age, soften lines, or define the contours of the face and body. They require no surgery and are performed quickly in the office. The type and amount of filler are planned according to each person's facial structure and expectations.
Softening the lines that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth.
Reducing deep forehead lines.
Balancing the facial profile by adding volume to the tip of the chin.
Making the jawline look more defined and sharper.
Reshaping areas that need volume and contour support. The material and amount to be used are determined at the examination.
People bothered by age-related volume loss and lines, those who do not want surgery, and those looking for a subtle correction of the facial profile or body contour.
First, the areas to be treated are marked. Numbing is achieved with a topical numbing cream or local anesthesia. The material is placed with a fine needle or cannula. Depending on the area, it usually takes 20–45 minutes.
Mild swelling, redness, and bruising may occur and resolve within a few days. You can usually return to daily life right away. Intense exercise, saunas, and pressure on the treated area are not recommended for the first 1–2 days.
Most fillers are temporary. How long they last varies with the type of material and the area treated, and repeat treatments may be needed over time. Permanent fillers are not considered medically acceptable.
When the right area and amount are planned, the goal is a natural result. The aim is not to change the face but to balance it and correct anatomical deficiencies.
Bruising and swelling are common. Serious complications such as infection or blockage of a blood vessel are rare but possible. For this reason, fillers should be performed in a medical setting by a specialist physician.
